A former industrial corridor, the San Antonio Design District and the firms that call it home are inextricably intertwined. Many firms are housed in adaptive reuse buildings that they have renovated, preserving their heritage while creating dynamic spaces to collaborate.
At the epicenter of the Design District sits 1344 South Flores, a historic office building. Home to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) San Antonio chapter, as well as two engineering firms, its revitalization served as the catalyst for the Design District.
