In Celebration of Our 15th Anniversary, We are Committing to 1500 Hours of Community Service in 2021

Founded in 2006, Cleary Zimmermann Engineers is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2021! Our hands-on approach to our work, our business, and most importantly, our clients, has been the backbone of our service philosophy since the firm’s inception and continues today. From the construction of our original office furniture by hand in Wade Cleary’s driveway, to the renovation of our historic office building in San Antonio, we are not afraid to put in the work to make our vision come to life.

Every day you will find Cleary Zimmermann’s team members coordinating constantly, crisscrossing construction sites, and contributing on community boards. Across all functions in our firm, our team members take personal responsibility for and a proactive approach to getting the job done right.

Our hands-on approach goes beyond the responsive service our clients and peers experience daily; we cleared debris in the Hurricane Harvey cleanup effort, built matching conference tables for our three offices, and fire up our custom BBQ pit multiple times a year to make fall-off-the-bone ribs and Danny Zimmermann’s famous beans!

In honor of this firmwide orientation towards hands-on service, and in celebration of our 15th anniversary, we are committing to 1500 hours of hands-on community service as a firm in 2021. A mix of staff-initiated individual service hours and firm-wide days of service, we look forward to celebrating our anniversary our favorite way: by using our hands to accomplish something great!

Visit our dedicated 15th anniversary page and our social media channels throughout the year to keep up with our anniversary celebration! We will be featuring videos, service spotlights, and archival photos looking back at 15 years hands-on and looking forward to 1500 hours hands-on in 2021!

Kick Off Event

Cleary Zimmermann Engineers is serving 500 tacos to the frontline healthcare workers at Methodist Hospital Texsan during the 6:30 a.m. shift change on Friday, February 12, 2021 to thank them for their selfless service. Cleary Zimmermann is kicking off its 15th anniversary in 2021 by celebrating Methodist Texsan’s healthcare heroes with a curbside Cowboy Breakfast. To commemorate this anniversary, the firm is committing to 1500 hours of service in the community in 2021.

Known for their engineering design at San Antonio landmarks including the Alamodome, City Hall, and San Antonio International Airport, Cleary Zimmermann Engineers is the largest mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering firm in San Antonio. The firm’s founders, Wade Cleary and Danny Zimmermann, commissioned a 20’ BBQ pit that the firm uses to cook for the community, their clients, and now, frontline workers.
