Cleary Zimmermann designed the MEP systems for the 30,000 square foot Girl Scout Regional Headquarters which serves San Antonio and nine surrounding counties. The two 8,000-gallon cisterns outside the center store both rainwater and air-conditioner condensate, which are then used for irrigation. Even during dry spells, the air-conditioner condensate produces enough water to irrigate approximately 1.5 acres. Texas Construction Magazine named this project as one of the “Best of Awards” projects in 2008.
