Our team completed the design for a renovation of the Ft. Hood Monroe Health Clinic. This LEED Silver certified project required the complete demolition and renovation of 28,000 SF of interior elements and an addition of 2,500 SF. The new program includes exam rooms, treatment rooms, office space, a pharmacy, staff locker rooms, screening rooms, in-house laboratory, numerous waiting rooms and radiology.
Since the current program needed to remain in operation, extensive planning was set in place to temporarily house the mission within portable buildings that were brought on-site. The new design accommodates a more efficient staff and patient flow while adding the capability of an additional brigade combat team clinic pod.
“The team that Cleary Zimmermann Engineers has developed with Chesney Morales & Associates and Cude Engineers has truly proved to be a considerable asset to our company. Their fluid working relationship and project foresight makes them an invaluable member of our design-build construction team, often assisting our construction in the preliminary stages with defining project requirements and interpreting scope intent. Cleary Zimmermann’s adaptability to developing project requirements and keen attention to detail has developed healthcare designs to entail every definable feature of work, for complete and constructible design with minimum errors & omissions.“ - Jerome Schoffler, formerly of J&J Maintenance, Inc.
