Cleary Zimmermann Engineers’ Building Analytics, Commissioning and MEP teams worked together to perform energy audits on a variety of 20 facilities belonging to the City of San Antonio, including El Mercado Farmers Market and Market Square, Cliff Morton Development and Business Services Center, multiple fire stations, libraries, community centers, and administrative buildings.
For these projects, our Building Analytics team took the lead, working closely with our in-house Commissioning staff for field-related activities, as well as the City of San Antonio Energy Management Division staff, and other key participants throughout the process to ensure the accuracy of data collection and appropriateness of energy efficiency recommendations. The audits resulted in a series of reports on each facility that provided detailed energy savings opportunities, implementation methods and associated costs, as well as projected annual energy cost savings. After performing the audits, the City extended our contract to include implementation of our recommended energy saving methods by our MEP team. Our Commissioning Division also performed retrocommissioning of additional facilities including the Lila Cockrell Theater.
