BTU – Millican Control Center

Built to strengthen the reliability of electric service for the Bryan–College Station region, the BTU Millican Control Center is a new facility designed to centralize utility operations. The approximately 4,000-square-foot building includes a control room, computer room, QSE and SysOps offices, and essential support spaces. Key features include raised flooring for efficient cable routing, rooftop HVAC units, and a propane-powered backup generator housed in a buried tank to ensure uninterrupted service during emergencies.
