This particular project, in conjunction with the University of Texas Health Science Center, included a Level 2 Research laboratory used for the study of HIV/AIDS. The area includes a large open laboratory space designed to meet Level 2 Bio-Safety regulations, Tissue/Culture Room, Fume Hood Room, Microscopy, Long Term Freezer Storage Area, Refrigerated labs, Conference Room and Research Administriative Offices.
Due to the high percentage of outside air needed for the project, a significant chilled water load density was required. Research and analysis of the chilled water infrastructure was necessary to confirm the capability of the existing piping/pumping system to handle the additional load.

Hospital that spans more than (10) ten years, the design team at Cleary Zimmermann Engineers has an intimate knowledge of the campus and its infrastructure. In addition, they understand the complexities involved with the phasing required to keep an active hospital running with minimal disruption.
