As Accounting Manager, Melanie Castillo manages internal financial controls, firm cash flow, and oversees accounts receivable and payable. She is also responsible for payroll processing, financial reporting, and contract review.

Melanie joined Cleary Zimmermann Engineers in 2016, starting as an intern and transitioning into a full-time role upon her graduation from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BBA in Accounting. She also had an additional three years of accounting and bookkeeping experience prior to joining Cleary Zimmermann.

Melanie is active in many organizations that assist in disaster relief and community food distribution, including Children’s Hunger Fund (San Antonio), Hope for the Hurting, the San Antonio Food Bank, and the Coastal Bend Food Bank. Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys all things outdoors, including hiking, camping, cycling, running, and kayaking.
