Jaime Katz serves as Cleary Zimmermann’s Director of IT/Security. Jaime has over 25 years of experience as a tradesman electrician and construction administrator and with his intimate knowledge of building electrical systems and designs, his experience created a natural progression into the IT/Security field. He has led large teams of up to 170+ electricians and has served as a project manager since 2017. His favorite aspect of the role is collaborating with others.

While you may know Cleary Zimmermann as South Texas’s largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) firm, we are excited to expand our design capabilities to include Low Voltage design. The addition of IT/Security is a perfect complement to our largest service offering: Building MEP. The benefits to having IT/Security and MEP systems designed by the same consultant include:

During new building design, our team serves as a guide for a range of IT/security needs, coordinating across all disciplines for the most end user-friendly solutions. During renovation and upgrade projects, the IT/Security team provides a more complete review of MEP and IT/Security systems that may be impacted during the process.
Our IT/Security division provides innovative design and implementation management services for structured cabling, voice systems, data networking, audio/visual systems and physical security systems for Data Centers, Municipal, Federal, K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare and Corporate facility types.
