Division Detail: So What Is Building Analytics?

People know Cleary Zimmermann as the largest MEP engineering firm in San Antonio, but are sometimes a little less familiar with our other service divisions. One of these divisions is Building Analytics, a service line dedicated to complex building optimization using cutting edge programs to achieve maximum energy efficiency and limited environmental impact.

What is Building Analytics?

Cleary Zimmermann’s Building Analytics division specializes in complex building optimization tailored specifically for each project we complete. Our team provides analytic services using more than 20 software types for clients looking to maximize building system efficiency for low environmental impact and high cost-effectiveness. We assist our clients in a variety of ways, from creating building system standards, to selecting window glazing, to finding significant rebates for their efficient building systems. Our Building Analytics team is specifically dedicated to system analysis, sustainability, energy optimization and building analysis. To date, this team has provided a range of services for projects such as the new GSA San Antonio Federal Courthouse, USDA Energy Audits in three locations, Energy Analysis for Saint Mary’s Hall campus-wide buildings, and Analytics for the new Prairie View A&M University Agriculture and Business Building, among many more, and is highly familiar with sustainability standards set by organizations such as USGBC, Green Globes, ASHRAE, Architecture 2030 and others.
